Fiesta is offering a $25 gas credit card
or $35 in slot play.
Which does group think is a better choice.

I would take the gas card since there is no risk. -Russ

If one plays enough at the Fiesta to make this choice, I don't understand
why anyone takes the gas card unless you are required to play on a
particular day. If you are going to play at the Fiesta anyway, the $35 free
play is worth $35 no matter how good or bad you do with the "actual" free
play. Only if you are playing the free play just to play the free play would
it matter how well you do with it. If you are playing anyway, it's just like
you put $35 cash into the machine. That would be its' value. The one caveat
I see is if they make you play the free play on a particular day. I have
never received this so I don't know how long you have to use it. If you have
to use it on a particular day and you weren't going to play already, then I
understand why one might opt for the gas card although I wouldn't choose it.

George Lee asked about the $25 gas card or $35 in free play.
My response agrees with Randy C's, with some amplification. It is really
a no-brainer. Since you have to be in the top 100 players over the past
half-month (which takes 40,000 points, about, which means you played
between $40,000-$80,000 depending on how much you played on the Optimum
Play machines) anybody who earns such a prize is a relatively big player
who isn't going to be sidetracked by the "guaranteed $25" versus the $35
in free play. The free play is worth considerably more. You have to sign
up for it in a certain 24-hour period (noon on the 1st or 15th through
noon the next day), and it doesn't get posted to your account for a
couple of days, but then you have a week to play it. Anyone earning such
a prize has to show up at Fiesta 4-times-a-week anyway to collect their
free play, so this is no additional burden.

Thanks for all the advice from everyone. I thought the $35 was better but I had
to prove to the wife since she listens to Bobby D, especially.
