Fiesta 5x points - reduction

I received the mailings for November and it looks like the Fiesta has
severly curtailed the 5x points days.

It used to be Mondays (Macho Amigos), Thursdays and Fridays. For
November, its only Fridays, which puts it in direct competition with
Texas...who has 3x & 4x points (depending on your Boarding Pass
level) on Fridays.

In the last month or two, Texas reduced the number of 4x point days
for the Platinum level players...are we seeing the beginnings of
a "tightening" trend from Stations?

Don,

It's hard to say what they are doing but at least Fiesta is increasing cash while decreasing multiple points. Doesn't even out but it may not be too bad. Things with Fiesta will be pretty flexible for the next several months as they convert their tracking system to Acres.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Friday conflict disappear soon (although I know nothing for sure).

Bill,
You are correct, the cash back did increase. Is the Acres system used
by the Station branded casinos? Think we're going to see the end
of "pure" cash back and start seeing "play through" cash back?

Don the Dentist

The new day for everyone is now Thursdays instead of Fridays. All other
days are by mailed coupons only. Also, no more 5 x Mondays in the pit.

Scot

Yes, beyond any shadow of doubt. (But since we play with an advantage, that's a good thing. <g>)

This is very interesting. Can you tell us what the main cash coupons were and, if you know it, how much coin-in you had in the 90 days ending Sept 30?

Thanks,

B

We received Friday AND Saturday 5x point coupons for November.

Gak

Scot,

You may have been misinformed. Thursday is now the Fiesta 50 day, changed from Wednesday. Everyone I have spoken to, including me, received Friday 5X coupons only (except for Gak's post where he got Sat, too).

There are two of us with very different play and we both received the
fri & sat 5x$5 coupons. We also received two $10 "kicker" coupons
(earn 100 points/recieve $10), and four regular bounce coupons, mine
were $15 and my boyfriend's were $10.

My play for 90 days: 91K
My boyfriends: 33-40K (this number might be slightly higher.)

This is very interesting. Can you tell us what the main cash coupons

were

and, if you know it, how much coin-in you had in the 90 days ending

Yes, Bill, as I said, if you were mailed the coupons, they are good on
Fridays, as well as other days, like Saturdays and Thursdays, but the
new "open day" to the general public is THURSDAYS, starting in November!
I posted it over a month ago on the LVA site and have two press releases
sitting in front of me. I spoke with them over a month ago as well, and
yes they will be changing to free play cash instead of money too.

Scot
