FEB vpFREE Green Valley Ranch Lunch

Greetings from Las Vegas, Home of the Monthly vpFREE Lunches:

The FEB vpFREE Green Valley Ranch lunch will be on Wednesday
4 FEB at 11:30 AM at the GVR buffet. If you want to sit with
the group you should be on time.

Meet at the buffet entrance and everyone will proceed to the
buffet line promptly at 11:30. This is a Dutch treat, non-hosted
lunch with a minimum of planning and supervision. GVR regular(s)
Jim Tsalikis <tsalikis@yahoo.com> and/or Haskell Deutsch
<haskd89052@yahoo.com> plan to attend every GVR lunch and
will guide attendees through the President's line. An RSVP
is appreciated.

I am going to LV this Saturday (my third trip) and will be staying at the Rio and Sams Town. I would like to attend this lunch and meet some of the group. I have never been to Green Valley Ranch and would like to go a few hours early and play VP before lunch if I dont meet gamblers ruin before my last day. Are there any local players going early who would like to show a tourist the best machines at GVR. How much is cab fare from Sams to GVR?

Everyone should bear in mind that vpFREE lunches are
unorganized and under promoted. You can count on Jim
or Haskell attending @ Green Valley and I'll be @ Texas
Station, but any additional attendees may or may not
materialize.

I suspect that any local attendee will be glad to show
you around GVR after the lunch. You should be able to
find the best machines from the location info in the
DataBase.

How much is cab fare from Sams to GVR?

I took a cab once about 40 years ago, but try very hard
to avoid them, so I don't have a clue on cab fares.
