We are headed for Vegas and staying at The Orlean for Super Bowl weekend. This is our first time staying at The Orleans. Any suggestions on Orleans activities or favorite VP or slots to play? We usually play $0.25 or $1 machines. Thanks for your thoughts. This is our third year going to Vegas for Super Bowl weekend and we think it is the only place to go to watch the game.

Prime Rib Loft is one of my favorite steak places in the world. $13-15 for lunch prime rib. Try it blackened. Or order the bigger portion for $21 and have them do 1/2 normal, 1/2 blackened.
The better restaurant at Orleans has the same beef, only priced higher.
I have a soft spot for the Orleans because they were the first place to comp me a buffet (which also has kick-butt prime rib, just not the aged stuff at the Prime Rib Loft. But the BJ has bad pen, and the VP is 99+%.
Oyster Bar is also nice.

* Make sure you get a discount / fun book on check-in
* Do a lot of scouting, there are some progressives there that occasionally go positive
* I like the 8/5 bonus poker Multistrikes, and dream card spin ( deuces ) machines.
* Take the free shuttle to Gold Coast and see the Jasmine Trias / SOS show. There is a special - get a free steak dinner at TGIF with good seat purchase.
* There is good entertainment at the O - check out the showroom, Brendans, and Cabaret lounge
* I like the Mexican place -, Don Miguels. There are usually discount coupons for that place from LVA/ACG. I understand that they have just opened up a Fudruckers burger in the food court.
* There is easy outside parking. Across the street is a strip club. Its only a 10-15 minute walk to Palms/Rio/Gold Coast.
