After reading some of the posts about what is required and what
isn't, a summary of the sharing requirements seems necessary.
FAQ #60 ( http://members.cox.net/vpfree/FAQ.htm#60 ) is intended
as a reference statement that:
1. vpFREE believes that the free and open exchange of information
is vital and beneficial to the video poker community as a whole.
2. It is in the best interest of vpFREE as a whole if all members
share all good games with the group.
3. Every member should share information on good games, unless
they are personally participating in an attractive play and believe
that it's in their best interest to keep it non-public.
4. The only beneficiary of non-public plays is the very small group
of active participants. All other vpFREE members should prefer
that the play is outed and either dies or survives in the open market.
5. A perceived casino mistake may not be a mistake, and posting
good games on vpFREE can have positive as well as negative effects.
As has been noted by others, the sharing of games requirement is
mostly unenforceable and primarily relies on the honor system.
I can only recall two members who have been unsubscribed for
noncompliance, and that was after they ignored my private,
personalized request/warning.
It would be a big help if members would routinely report MIA items,
and would confirm that good games are still in place at casinos that
haven't been updated recently.
