Fantasy Springs Update

Visited this casino over the weekend. The player's card now has two
separately tracked accounts: a cashback account, and a comp dollar
account.

I have verified the 0.067% cashback rate listed on the database page,
and found it to be still correct. The comp dollar account accrues 5
times as fast, at a rate of 100 points = $5 in comps, which works out
to 0.33%. The comp dollar account can be used at all of the eateries
(except Starbucks), and at the two gift shops. If you are a heavy
hitter, you can get some top notch clothing at their Avalon Bay store
with your comp dollars.

I have played at Fantasy Springs while driving through on I-10 but
never registered for the slot club. Now it makes even more sense to do
so.

Got a postcard out of the blue from a host there named "Jackpot Joe"
asking me to sign up. I have no idea how the casino knew I was playing
there since I never hit a taxable jackpot or spoke to a host.

I did make one ATM withdrawal for $300. Think somebody at Fantasy
Springs could track that or perhaps is pursuing license plate numbers
in the parking lot?

No way.

All it takes is showing your driver's license for anything at anytime
over the past couple of years (such as staying in the hotel and showing
the front desk your driver's license, OR when playing table games, they
ask for your driver's license if you don't have a player's card)

Thanks for the update on the cashback and comps. I know of
8 old upright machines that have $.25 & $1 NSUD and 9/6 JoB.

Someone needs to verify the other listing of $.25 through
$25 9/6 JoB. I do not think these exist anymore. I am not
sure about the $.05 50 play since someone was playing at the
time of my last visit in November. I really doubt if any of
the other listed JoB games are in the casino.

OK. I have verified that all of the entries on the database page that
refer to MG/MD uprights "on the perimeter of the table games area" no
longer exist. I was the one who reported these in Sep. 2004, and they
are all gone.
