False advertising of 100% games

Seems like a big no-no to claim a machine is 100% when it isn't. >>>

These are Strat 9/7 DB (100.15%):

Assume that a 9/7 DB game isn't positive, UNLESS it's
at the Stratosphere and has a 100% payback label.

The same way you should always verify that a game is what you think it is. By checking every single line on the pay schedule. Many places have gotten tricky with the pay tables leaving the key numbers that everyone looks for alone, but changing other numbers.

Also important, some machines have bonuses for 5 or max coins on some hands other than the royal, so you should verify the pay table for the number of coins you intend to play.

The "Strat 9/7 DB" chart located at
http://videopoker.fws1.com/misc.htm
says the payback percentage is 100.15%.

The "Double Bonus" chart located at
http://videopoker.fws1.com/Double%20Bonus.htm
says the 9/7 payback percentage is only 99.11%.

These charts (for 9/7) are INDENTICAL to each other.

So, how can they both be the same exact schedule,
but have different payback percentages?

Obviously, one of them is incorrect.

They are NOT identical. Look more closely.
At the Stratosphere the 400 coin quad payoff
is for quad 2/3/4/5/6, NOT just for 2/3/4/. Hence
the higher payback percentage.

It took me a moment also.

Ain't been in the Strat for years. I guess each machine is posted and
posted right. A few years ago, a group of machines could be posted
something like, "this group machines payback up to 100%". There was a
certain wording of posting that lets house only have to have one
machine in group pay 100%. I don't pay attention to signs anymore so
I don't know if they even use that trick anymore. Worth looking out
for though. Especially for reel slots. Might see pays back up to 99%
and customer thinks they all payback that much.

Cheers.....Jeep

I apologize for the false report. I obviously didn't check the entire paytable closely enough....*blush*

So what are the differences in this version of 9/7 in the quad payouts that I missed?

Strats DB pays a bonus on quad 2-6 instead of quad 2-4.
