Generally, any wins generated by one wager should be aggregated in
determining whether a W-2 is required. However, I suspect casino
treatment of this situation is inconsistent, at best.
A few months ago I played under a promotion that would double any
handpay, up to $500. I was extremely fortunate in hitting a royal
that paid many times this amount. They honored the promotion and
added $500 to my winnings. However, the W2-G they issued included
only the RF winnings and not the $500 bonus.

If you get a royal at the casino that offers an extra 1000 coins for
that specific royal, do they consider this as all one win, $1250 on a
quarter machine. Or on a quarter machine, do you get the $1000 royal
and a $250 bonus.I know, you should report all wins, but I still like to avoid W2-G's
if at all possible.
