expensive booze

You can always try asking for expensive booze...they just may have it. If you
do ask for it, ask for that brand only or you could get a substitute. I've
asked for Bailey's Irish Cream many times (a not that expensive item) and
usually gotten Bailey's, but occasionally have gotten some sort of substitute.

One place you might be more likely to get higher quality is in a special slot
club "premium" lounge: for example Harrah's Diamond Club, one of the premium
lounges in Atlantic City like those at Taj Mahal, Resorts, Ballys, etc.
Perhaps the Venetian's Gold Lounge, or T.I.'s special lounge off the Hi Roller
area.

My husband like's single malt scotch and sometimes is able to get it at one
of these premium clubs, although it is usually Glenlivet and not Talisker or
one of the other top scotch brands.

Another gambit is to go to a bar or restaurant where you are paying with a
comp and order a premium brand. Take it with you when you leave. Similarly,
order from room service if you have a room, if available, and pay charges with
comps/points.
