I see a predicted high in Laughlin today of 121 degrees. My local paper
showed the highest recorded temperature in the USA of 119 degrees at
Death Valley yesterday. Could it be that Laughlin is going to be hotter
than Death Valley? Not a good time to be traveling in the area. I think
they have the sidewalk egg frying contest in Oatman today. ? They are
probably the only ones happy about the heat.

I think Death Valley is talking 128 today. Northern Arizona is going not
just after a daily high today, but a all-time record high today. My town has to
beat 97 degrees in 1938, I think. Broke the daily yesterday.
