I love the south end of the strip, but the weekend I'm going in May
rooms were high, so I ended up with Tropicana, where I've never
stayed before. Now, I've stayed multiple times in Excalibur and
found the rooms fine, and love the big casino. Food isn't a big
issue for me actually. I play mostly VP (JoB and Bonus) and slots.
So, given all the above and a choice, would you stay at Excalibur or
Tropicana for a 3-day weekend? And why? Thanks in advance for the
feedback.

I'd stay at the Tropicana and ask for the front tower (Paradise) if
you can. The rooms are nice and close to the casino.
If roaming packs of screaming kids and bad food is your bag, then
Excalibur is your choice. Otherwise take the Trop.
