I think they are following the time schedule. Joel Stein was overseeing my
selecting the envelopes , making a big deal and announced to the staff when
I opened the $50 envelope and they all clapped. The envelopes were all
numbered, apparently sequentially, and I thought I might detect a pattern by
picking numbers in different blocks, like maybe all the cash wins were in the
same number lot. But I forgot to note which wins came from which envelope so I
didn't learn anything.Louise

So they are trying for some hoopla again! Joel Stein, the Game Show guy, can
talk it up. You get to stand in two lines...one for the slot club and then
one for the drawing drum? Mr. Lucky used to do this next to the host office,
but there wasn't much fanfare.
Last Spring's version, the slot boothlings picked the envelopes and opened
them, really slowed things down for people doing other business.
