We got four free nights in August and September (midweek or weekend) and two
$20 dining credits.
Just got home today. Had been in Las Vegas for six nights (three at Caesars
Palace for an invitational tournament and three at Barbary Coast for an
invitational tournament). It was a brutal trip on the bankroll.
Stopped overnight in Laughlin last night. Stayed at Edgewater. No changes
that we could find at Edgewater.
At River Palms, however, they have begun installation of new TI/TO machines
in the Winner's Wharf. They are multi-game; multi-denom.....quarter/50
cent/dollar. There are four games on each......8/5 bonus; 9/7 DB; 9/6 DDB and 9/5
White Hot Aces. I believe their plans are to change over all machines in the
Wharf, although this was not confirmed. They had only six machines in there
yesterday.
We're heading to Wisconsin next week for a month-long visit, so no casino
visits planned until September. Hope there's still some playable VP left when we
return! Oh, and yes, it was HOT.....121 on Tuesday. Yesterday it was only
113, but very muggy and hazy.
