I received an offer in the mail from the Edgewater for 4 free nights,
and $75.00 in free expo cash. I have received these offers in years
past, but I have never visited their holiday shopping area. Has
anyone been to these in previous years? What kind of merchandise do
they offer? On the printed offer they show electronic gear and
nothing else. They also state their items are "all priced just
right". Yea, right. Are they all rip off prices?
Was wondering the same - we got the same 4 nights plus $150. That was from
one visit with $5000 action on the FPDW. Wonder what the regular players got...

We did not get this offer this year :frowning: but did it last year. We got the $150 and free nights.

Last year they had a large tent in the parking lot. You also get to earn cash vouchers with your play, no point deductions. We probably got about $450 total to spend. We optimized our spending because we made several visits after earning the vouchers. We did get to use the gifts for Christmas presents. Some of the stuff was good, some junk. For example, we got SS thermoses with cups in a carry case, fleece blankets, toys for the grandkids, christmas ornaments. They also had athletic carry bags, shirts(expensive). As an example of junk, there was the 35 mm camera that didn't need to be focused, some crummy radios, etc.

You could also pay cash for the items at 50% of the price paid with the vouchers. So you could pay the difference needed with cash. You did not get a partial refund on the vouchers. I would suggest getting vouchers in the smallest denomination, by visiting the slot booth frequently. We kept shopping with a calculator to use up all of the vouchers.

All in all we would have gone again but didn't get invited so made plans to visit the grandkids in Colorado instead.
