EW - CB 'VIP' status, confusing?

I never had a 'comp B' dining card before,
and here's the STRANGE part:

I played MOSTLY at CB last few trips, with SOME play at EW.
Perhaps they look at ALL play.

Per their website it states 2000 daily pts for CLub VIP,
and lists some of its benefits (at least in MAY) when
you stay at the CB.

Now for the WEIRD part:
Last visit (after activating my freeplay on an offer),
I checked at the slotclub booth (if there's a host office,
I'll have to find it next time).

They said usually you are NOTIFIED in US MAIL,
when you've been upgraded. So - I left it at that,
since I was 'dbl-booked' that weekend for HL tournament/stay, anyways.

NOW I've booked an offer in mid-MAY for EW,
(however, I couldn't get both the VIP benefits/trial benefits
incl. 2x pts, welcome gift basket, upgrades to room,
but instead took the EW $50 Freeplay + $15 food credits).

I booked again for JUNE at EW (I really prefer their PARKING GARAGE,
as summer sun approacheth). The RESERVATIONS CLERK stated that on
this offer, I was eligible for a SUITE! AND I'm also supposed to
checkin via their 'VIP' check-in area to get this dining comp 'B'
card, which apparently can be used at buffet, cafe ?COCO's?, and
deli-snack stand, but NOT at Hickory Pit.

Now that's not too bad a deal, if it covers all of my basic needs
daily, instead of having to use comp/meal pts!

My q. - Is there a 'host' office at the CB,
and if so, why wouldn't I qualify for some of these same
amenities? Esp. since I have significantly more POINTS earned at CB!

Anyone who can explain the CB to EW relationship,
and their comping system via the new ACCESS Club is a comp genius!

In the meantime, perhaps these are 'test' offers for slightly more
regular players?? (I never have been to Laughlin as much as recently,
all bec. my friend encouraged me to become H. diamond; thus
triggering bi-weekly offers, and almost WEEKLY offers!).

We have basically carpooled (saving on gas),
and then dbl-book with whatever CB-EW sends us.

Now I may actually have to PLAY more at EW,
while still playing in tournaments at HL on these short 2 night trips...

If PIONEER and TROP Express start sending me stuff,
I might have to TRIPLE-book rooms! (or at least the offers!!).

Thanks for reading,
Martin - who is significantly entrenched and buried in
Laughlin offers right now.

Martin, I certainly do not know the answers to your questions about
the relationship of play at the EW/CB. However, I noticed they have
changed the wording on the webpage about obtaining VIP status: "Earn
an average of 2,000 base points per day on your Access Club card to
be considered for club VIP". Notice they added the word "considered".

The host office is right next to the check in area at the Belle. As
you stand in line it is to the right. I don't know how you missed it.

I still do not have a card at the EW, but my lastest mailer says I am
a Colorado Belle club VIP member, and I can get a suite if I stay at
the EW.

I am going to give you the assignment to figure this all out.
