OBTW, the September promos/music should be posted soon on the Entertainer
website by tomorrow morning. I still have not received my Pioneer Round-up
and
the website still does not have the September calendar either.*****
There are dueling acts this Saturday night. BB King at Harrahs and The Guess
Who at TE. Anyone got an extra ticket for the Pavillion theater?

I reply:
The Entertainer does have articles about BB KIng and The Guess Who in today's
online edition.

Of course BB King gets first billing.
I want to see The Guess Who on Saturday. According to Hamstockman the show
is sold out. But a single ticket is all I need. So where do the extra comped
tickets start floating around at the Trop Express? I will have about 30 hours
to snag one.
It has been just 35 years since my last The Guess Who concert. I saw them a
couple times within a year at the Arie Crowne theater on Chicago's lakefront
circa 1972-73...that is High School. Randy Bachman already left the band back
then, but Burton Cummings still was the lead singer for a couple more years.
The Bass player and the Drummer have been going for 40 years. Garry Peterson
is interviewed in the Entertainer article.

I will be in town for a rare weekend visit to do the GN-L BJ tourney. Anyone
who is in town should consider doing the $50 buy-in/$20k prize money event.
I did the dual $10k events in March. They run a fine tourney at GN-L, for the
most part. There usually is a strong overlay too for the GN-L events.

PS
The Guess Who will be at the Cannery during the first week in October too.
