I finally had a winning session after six consecutive losing ones.
Whew! I'm glad that's over.
Had some eye tests done Thursday morning and took the rest of the
day off. (love those free sick days) Went to Motor City Casino again
to play some NSU Deuces. Got there about 10:00 and met Connie, an old
gambling friend and one of the vp regulars there. She was playing her
usual DDB and said that she was out a couple of hundred so far. I
wished her luck and said I was prepared for a day-long battle to
break this lousy losing streak that I was on. I was going to play
deuces, but
first, I decided to try a hundred playing her DDB just to see what
the gambling Gods had in store for me today.

After being about $50 down, I hit the progressive Royal Flush for
close to $1300. Yea team! After getting paid and signing the tax
form, I decided to play out the remaning $50. I then hit two 250
credit quads to get ahead and switched games to deuces.
An hour later I hit the four deuces for $250 and was through for
the day, or so I thought. While waiting for a hopper fill, I put in a
twenty in the machine next to me and proceeded to hit four nines
playing DDB. I'm up about $1500, I'm outta here.
It felt good to be walking out of the casino with a smile on my
face and some money in my wallet for a change instead of leaving with
that all too familar losing feeling.
