You'll find good games within walking distance at Gold Coast and Palms.

Hello,

I was hoping I could get some feedback on where the best Video Poker is right now? Have free rooms through Harrahs, but have never had much luck at the Rio. Travel not a problem.

Thanks

Not sure if this works anymore, but I knew a lot of Harrahs people who would stay at RIO, and only play at the Palms and Gold Coast. As long as you did not play 1Cent at RIO, it would not count against your daily play, and the offers for free room at RIO would keep coming! You could even use your points to get free food at RIO, as long as you did not play their machines. The Rooms at RIO are nicer than GC or Palms so it was a good deal.

I was thinking that taking taking a room at any Harrah’s property DID trigger a “gaming day.” No longer true???

Add to that does it matter if you book the room from the web or you get it with an
offer code.

Not for a long time.

When you check in, they add one Reward Credit.
At check out, they deduct it.
This little trick trips you.

Harrah's started doing this in the South quite a few years ago.
Vegas properties joined the party recently.

Sent from TC's iPad

Just did this over Christmas. Did not use an offer, booked on web, came up Comp. The rooms at the RIO are not what they used to be. Did not play one cent there or eat there. Offers are still coming in almost daily. Played strictly at GC.
I am not 7 stars only a bare minimum diamond.
