End of Drought Photo

There were several questions as to why a Royal paid $400 on an nickel machine.
I'm not sure, but I posted the pic. It has the paytables.

If that didn't work then it is in the 2010_8 album.

The 10 coins explains the $400. Congrats.

Obviously it really isn't a nickel machine but a dime 10 cent machine.
You have to play 10 coins, not 5 to get that 8000 coin, 10 cent Royal.

In all honesty, I didn't realize I was playing ten coins. I thought I was playing 5.
I hadn't played that long on it and was really trying to figure out the best holds. I didn't even notice it when I posted the picture. Only after someone pointed it out on this board. I'm attributing this to old age.

BTW - I've found that Winpoker for the iphone is great. There were 10 times or more that I got it out and ran the hand analysis to be sure what the optimal play was. Best money I've ever spent for an app.

Just be aware that if you get caught in Nevada or many other
jurisdictions, use of an electronic device for gambling assistance in a
casino is a felony. If someone can watch your machine for you, you might
want to go to the restroom or outside the casino area to analyze the hand.

It's a little scary that someone who is trying to learn/perfect VP play doesn't even know why a royal paid out what it did.

One other note: The game you were playing had only about a 96.04% return
with best play. Do not know if that was the best play available but
congratulations on the hit.
