Encore or Wynn ?

Hi,
We'll be in Las Vegas next week. Part of our stay will be four nights in Wynn or Encore. We've stayed at the Wynn and now were thinking of Encore. A look at the internet sites caused us some concern. There doesn't appear to be any casual dining at Encore( Wynn has buffet, Terrace Point Cafe. Za Za,Sugar and Spice etc.). Have we overlooked something? Also what are your opinions of the pool areas in each resort ? Any opinions/comments in regards to any of these two hotels would be most appreciated.

  Thanks,
Larry Feldman

Society is very comparible to terrace point if not better. no Encore does not have a buffet but for casual dining Society is fantastic. I have been there a few times myself.

Hotels connected by walkway inside/shopping/clubs. Any restaurants easy to
get to in either one. Don't know about pools. Lobby of Encore I think
prettier.

Hotels are connected. Buffet at Wynn is excellent. Pools at Wynn are huge. There are 4 included a topless one in the rear.

Great place to stay...

Distance is not an issue, as others have said, since they are connected. Encore's casino is smaller, quieter, and more intimate.

Same goes for pools...both nice. Encore's is more laid back. Both have topless areas in the back past the main pools.

Personally, I pick Encore, particularly if you've stayed at Wynn already. Give the new place a shot. Rooms are awesome. I wouldn't worry much about the other things you mentioned, as everything is so close. Also, you won't have an issue getting to either pool no matter where you are staying.
