I just returned from the Empress reopening. I only saw two games for quarter that I would be willing to toss $20.00 at 7/5 BP 10 coin and 9/5 DDB. The new casino has destroyed the 98% paytables on everything. I live 3 minutes away and I will not return. I will play in Indiana and at Harrahs from now on. The carpet is falling apart already, the buffet is in the back of the casino, and once you lose you have to walk uphill to get the the parking lot. There is also a ton of wasted space and a ton of walking to get to the games. I hope they go bankrupt or that the state of Illinois requires them to sell it or the Aurora Hollywood very soon.
Empress reopening
Thanks for sharing your observations, you have probably saved many people a lot of time.
It's really too bad there is no good VP in Illinois, but as long as people play the weaker games, the casinos will offer them.
