Gosh folks I just don't know. It sounded like a legitimate issue to me. It never even occurred to me that this could be anything other than a real plea for help from our favorite and most colorful poster.

Does anyone have the ability to contact Micky directly and see if these messages are really coming from him???

I must admit I didn't even notice the email address was different..

[letter omitted]

I am astonished that Frank, with his considerable knowledge of technology, may have considered this spam as being legitimate.
But I am much more impressed that Frank would admit he considered it might a "real plea for help."

London doesn't seem like Mickey's kind of place, anyway. If the message had come from Butte, Bozeman, or Great Falls, it would have seemed more authentic.

London doesn't seem like Mickey's kind of place, anyway. If the

seemed more authentic.

2nd on that ... even the prospect of London, Ont seemed a bit too upscale a destination for his typical travels ...

I am astonished that Frank, with his considerable knowledge of
technology, may have considered this spam as being legitimate.

But I am much more impressed that Frank would admit he considered
it might a "real plea for help."

Could be a true testament to Frank's "mensch-ness" ... but I would have been far more comforted if we had found out that it was Frank's yahoo acct that was hijacked!
