Doesn't sound like it's Yahoo's fault.
I stopped using Cox (which you use) for individual emails
from Yahoo Groups a few months ago. I wasn't getting
about 25% of the Yahoo Groups messages and wasn't
able to get any satisfactory answers or assurances from
Cox. I gave up and started using a Yahoo address for
individual emails - no problems since. I don't know if
they've fixed the problem or if it has any relevance to
your situation.
