All of the email servers I'm familiar with store the
messages in some sort of database. I suppose it is
possible if two message hit the server at the same
time and the server "hiccuped" that the subjects could
be mis-posted. I've never heard of it happening, but
with computers you never know.
BTW - last week or so, someone mentioned the McCarran
airport IS system upgrades and ticket kiosks in the
hotels. For those fellow geeks among us who might be
interested, "Network Computing" magazine did a spread
about that system in their "Centerfold" story about
three issues ago.
