EMAIL FROM CASINOS TO PATRONS

Casino execs, casino lurkers, casino consultants:

Please inform the marketing departments that, if they want ALL their patrons
to read their email, put the body of the message in plain text with links
following to the beautiful graphics & artwork of their underemployed web-page
mavens.

With the plethora of junk mail, most of us will not bother to click on the
links or access the site if we can't see the graphic or know the gist of the
message on the first go-around. So casinos can do some cost-cutting on their
ad budget by going to plainer messages which are actually read over the fancy
ones which miss half their audience.

Example of bad email: Palms--not talking about content just ability to read
messages which I don't often get to because I can't see the graphic or won't
take the time to access site.

Example of good email: Terribles--can read every one of their messages.
Probably due to a modest ad budget where they can't afford an overwrought web
genius they have to use simpler devices to attract attention.
