Elton John Tkts. and Tier Status

I'm glad to see that my original inquiry drew such a nice response. Thanks to all. What I gleaned from these responses is that Sachem is not worth the effort and that MS doesn't like to give out free rooms on weekends. In AC its quite easy to get weekend accomodations.

Hi Larry,
I'm not sure I agree with your gleaning  Rooms always have been tough at
Mohegan. That's why they need another hotel. In A/C most of the casinos have
empty rooms these days. Once you reach Sachem rooms are free 7 days and a second
room is $29. If husband and wife are Sachem you can get 4 rooms, usually a suite
for $58. The lounge on 33 has the best food of any lounge I have ever been to.
You get at least 2 tickets to every show. We have 8 between us and 4 rooms to
George Lopez.

I guess I was personalizing it. Although I was surprised that some Sags said that they weren't being offered free weekend rooms. Whatever tier status I reach at any casino is based upon moderate play but frequent visits. There are people who go much less than I do but get better offers at the same tier level, I presume because they give much more play when they do go. This irks me. To me, for example $200K coin in on Jacks is the same whether you are doing it over 10 sessions or 5 sessions. As a Wolf I only get offers for the lesser shows. Never was offered Bon Jovi, although a few years ago I was offered him and Billy Joel and I wasn't even Wolf at the time. Obviously this is in line with their new " cut the theo, cut the offers" policy. It is one of the main reasons why I frequent AC much more than MS even though both are equi-distant from me and in truth MS is an easier ride, and much more convenient for long day trips if I choose to use the bus. And as long as I'm on a "tear" the stupidity of just having a set 6 month tier earning period( rather than an individuals 6 month period), doesn't offer any incentive to play there, once a tier is reached, till the next 6 month period begins.
