Sometimes it seems companies forget the business slogan "The Customer
is Always Right". Of course, it's well within their rights to
withhold niceties from you, but if I were spoken to as bruskly as you
were, I would vote with my feet and never visit that establishment
again. Casinos will only get the message if they start losing
customers.
Possibly you missed the point of my post. When the GM told me they were
"refusing service," he was saying that I was barred from playing there. If you
reread the conversation, I think you will realize this. So "voting with my feet"
is a moot point, as I no longer have the option to play there. It is certainly
clear that they don't want me as a customer!

Me (smiling): Hi, Michael. Do I need to speak to you every month in order to

the mailer?
Mike: We're refusing service.
Me: What does that mean?
Mike: We're refusing service. We have that right.
Me: Have I done something wrong?
Mike: We're refusing service. That's all I'm going to say.
Me: So I won't be receiving mailers, right? And I can't play here?
Mike (nodding): We're refusing service.
Me: Very interesting. Thanks for your time.
