Interestingly, they no longer allow coupons to be played on craps.
Rumor has it that this is because of some sort of inside job
involving a casino manager, a pitboss and a dealer regarding a scam
of allowing a certain customer (read: accomplice) to play multiples
I was there end of January and watched a dealer basically turn over $1500 of
chips to two players (accomplices?) while the 2 floormen purposefully
stayed as far away as they could at the end of the blackjack area. Took about 4
minutes. I've never seen anyone win $50 at the Ellis Island crap table before.
The floormen never looked down towards the craps table.
If you've been in Ellis Island you know that green and black action at that
small craps table is VERY unusual and would normally call for a floorman to
watch every roll.
