Eldorado slashes comps

Just back from Reno on 11/6-11/7:
Eldorado has downgraded all positive machines and now has slashed the comps too!! $7K on VP earned about $5 in comps, $2 in jackpot bonus and $3.28 in future Free Play = 0.14%. This makes even the NSUD less than positive. You can now view your Free Play on-line. Seems to be good for 2 months? I guess the "future" freeplay is not good until 2 months out? There is an interesting feature to the web site -- click "account history" then "account".

Visited Circus Circus to get my weekly $15 Free Play. Took the time to figure out the comps for VP: $300 coin-in = $1 comps, $750 = $1 free-play. 0.46% total. Makes JOB 99.54+0.46% = 100%. But the extra $15 FP they have been adding every week makes it positive.

Hmmmm...I've got a reservation at Eldorado for next month and I play Bonus. I wonder if they still have 99.544% or if they've downgraded those too?

yes the JOB & DDB progressives are still there -- I believe the VPFREE2 data base is accurate.

It sounds ElDo they went to a similar theo-based system as their neighbor, SL. When SL made this change in the fall of '08 it pretty much became a dead deal.

As far as CC goes....well...let's just say not all Jacks are created equal.
