Santa WAS pretty good to me this Xmas. I don't celebrate the holiday (obviously) and didn't want to sit around at home watching religious stuff on the tube. So I got a comped room at Resorts. The hotel is older than my mother, and some AC regulars don't like the accommodations. But I think they turned it into some charming 40s retro. My room looked like it was originally two, and the walls were knocked out. I had two bathrooms, each equipped with a small etagierre to hold stuff. It was quite comfortable.
I ended up winning $415 on my stay _ just about the same amount I lost Sunday on 5X cashback day. So now I'm even, with about $250 in cashback too. Also did a light workout in their gym, indulged in the sauna, steam room and hot tub.
All in all, a nice Christmas.
