El Dorado progressive in down town Reno

The 9/6 JoB progressive is up to $1,300+. There's another one that's up to
$1,800 but I don't know the story behind that (I believe it's only for DB or
DDB or some other game I don't play). I tried my hardest to take down the
$1,300 but failed, so my increment is there for you to take.

Also, are situations like this postworthy or do people generally not care
about stuff like this?

Yes, people do care about this sort of stuff, but those jackpots are too low to get the pulse racing as they commonly reach those numbers cause they are fast meters. I'd be interested when the 9/6 JOB was over $1800 and the 9/6
DDB over $2500.

I'm sure many want to know. Problem is, sometimes before your fingers even
hit the keyboard for an alert to it, the progressive is hit. Some time ago,
after the wife and I had slugged away at a play that was well over 104%, I
phoned a friend in the wee hours of the morning, at his request, who had
left the game to go get some sleep. I told him that he and his GF could
have our seats, as we were shot and hanging it up. He said they would jump
in the car and be there in 20 minutes. Predictably, about 15 minutes after
the call, my wife pops the progressive. Our friendly replacements arrived
just in time to witness the hand pay. I felt guilty and he felt grumpy. We
certainly knew this could happen, but still uncomfortable nonetheless. To
post prog. totals on an internet board would most likely be a waste of your
time, as well as the people that read it.

I agree w/nudge & tomF - generally no need to post progs unless they're astronomical.

I also wanted to mention if you are posting about Reno - you should join and post to
vpFree_Reno. You'll hit your target audience plus generally get more appreciative replies. It's
the biggest little forum on yahoo. or something.
