Can anyone confirm the comp rate at the El Dorado? I was under the
impression that it was still .5%. Someone else believes it is
only .1%. Does anyone know? Thanks.
El Dorado comp rate
I played there a couple of weeks ago (9/6 progressive-enabled Jacks) and I
can attest that it is certainly closer to .5% than .1%.

I checked it many times last year playing 5 coin 25c FP 10/7 DB- 800 h/hr = $1000 coin in = $5 comps.
The machines don't tell, but before and after playing an hour go to the side of the club booth and swipe your card
at the kiosk. You can also check your before play comp level on their web page. Every other month, they have
drawings and you usually get one entry per $10 of comps. The machines tell you how many entries you have if you
pull the card and re-insert, so that is another rough check.

I've checked it many times on many machines. Unless it's changed, the
comp rate is exactly 0.575% and has been for several years.
BTW, do they really have a $600 max on comp balance?

My guess is it's correct.
The Silver Legacy also had to put a cap on too. You can thank at
least one local pro who would go in and play the hundred play 9/6/90,
or 10/6 DDB ten play, to rack up comp, bounceback, invitations to
freeroll tournaments, and drawing tickets. Then he would go in the
gift shop and buy everything that said Tommy Bahama on it and sell it
half price to a Tommy Bahama retailer in town.
Thanks to all for your responses on the ED comp rate.
