I haven't had a room offer from the EC since summer and I'm wondering
if anyone has gotten any offers in the past couple of months.
Strangely, I keep getting offers for BJ tournaments but I don't and
never have played BJ.

Get them every 3-4 months for about 3 nights (Sunday - Thursday). Play only
VP and ocassional slots. Visit twice a year. Best offer I get since I am a low roller (play $.25 machines). Downtown and locals places are superior fo low rollers compared to the Strip. Play at EC at least once a year for 4-6 hours and the offer swill come.

I got an offer from the El C a couple of years ago. It was for a free $1.49 breakfast and included
a "dime" tip coupon, that you would cut off and give to the waitress !
PS --> that $1.49 breakfast was terrific

I received the usual bi-monthly mailer that I get with various coupons
that are good with the room offer. The one I got for November and
December included $50 in food. I might take them up on that one. I'm
not high enough on their radar to get room offers for tournaments
though since I don't usually play there all that much.

What if the service was bad?
Could you rip the coupon in half and only give her part of it?

I just received an offer from the El Cortez this week.
It was for 2 rooms for 3 nights, a $50 dining certificate for Roberta's, breakfast buffet for 2, and 2 ice creams.
Regards
A.P.

I received my first room offer ever after having stayed there for a
couple nights three different times on 2 for 1 coupons and putting
moderate play on some quarter VP. It just arrived and is for 3 nights
and $25 in food, with no weekend restrictions either...
and thanks to Babe for writing her El Cortex memories. My last trip I
had my new favorite downtown moment...having had my nightly bankroll
sucked out at FPDW on the other end of downtown, I grabbed a couple
silver bullets and walked down Fremont enjoying the late night
sights..my last tenner going into my favorite El Cortez DDB. When the
waitress brought me a fresh bullet I told her I would tip her when I
cashed out... which I am sure she believed???...well deuces with a
kicker popped up and my bankroll replenished...finally got deuces, just
wrong machine. Cashed out and found the waitress to tip her double
double...
Lets get some Royals!!!

The same offer just arrived for me. Looking at it, I wonder how
the $50 dining certificate works. Do I have to use it all at once, or
could I use $25 of it twice? Likewise with the breakfast buffets, can
someone traveling alone get two free breakfast buffets on different
days, or can he use that only one time?

My offer, which arrived yesterday, was for one room, 3 nights, $25,
rest same. I don't really need 2 rooms and it's hard to spend over
$25 at Roberta's but the food is good.
