El Cortez Follies

JT: Yes, get the supervisor this is ridiculous.
Supervisor: Sir. We've always charged extra for sour dough toast.
JT: How can you do that when it's not on the menu as extra.

And so on and so forth. I got the name of the food and beverage manager,
Dave Williams, and will call him in the morning. Guess what. I left
Kathleen0035 a normal tip, knowing it would catch her off guard.

And, with my luck, I'm sitting in the same restaurant, waiting patiently for
a my waitress to take my order, but she can't because she's going though a
long drawn out conversation with some person a couple tables over about an extra
stinkin' .30 for toast......

LMAO - I'd advise the original poster to stay away from Atlantic
City. The combination of rude workers and even ruder customers
would probably give him an aneurysm.

While not in the rude column, I was wondering what he might have made
of the following exchange I had in an AC casino:

Me: I'll have a ham and swiss on rye and an iced tea.
Waitress: Anything with that?
Me: Yeah, a side of potato salad.
Waitress (very matter of factly): You don't want that.
Me (a little stunned): Huh?
Waitress (same tone): You don't want that.
Me: Oh ... Uhhh ... I'll have chips.
Waitress (brightly): That'll be right up!

Ain't that the truth. I'm surprised when I get good service in Atlantic City, its so uncommon.
