They are offering triple points now thru coupons and mailers only, and
only to the select players who earn them.

Sorry Carlos, that is not correct...
I was being mailed a number of coupons each month including two
coupons each month for 3x points (with no daily maximum number of
points that could be tripled). One coupon could be used on the day of
your choice between the 1st and the 15th; the second coupon between
the 16th and the last day of the month.
Prior to July, the El Cortez normally gave triple points on the
holidays, in addition to the coupons.
