The Edgewater has had for many months a free buffet for 40 points
redemption (80 points on Friday night), or prime rib at the coffee shop
(it's kind of so-so) also for 40 points. Steak and eggs for breakfast
= 40 points. Giant ham steak and eggs = 20 points. This promo is not
well advertised: it's not on a poster in back of the slot club
boothlings (on occasion I've seen it there but not recently), it's not
on the free standing promo board (at the entrance to the slot club) on
the side facing the casino but it is on the back side of that promo
board (facing the boothlings). I assume it's still in effect for
October. The coffee shop redemptions include only the main course --
beverage is not included.
On the matter of pools vs casinos: The wife and I have for many years
almost always taken our swim suits to Laughlin. We've never
used 'em.
