Edgewater and The Belle

Very sad news the belle and Edgewater are COMPLETE Video Poker waste land. The best games in the house is 9/5 job and I don't think it will last. All bar tops are 7/5 and 6/5 JOB, 6/5 Bonus poker , 8/5 DDB. 8/5 DB. The whole inventory is gone. No sigma games, no decent bartops nothing everything is gone, They even got rid of the low limit table games.

Sad indeed Patrick! However, not surprising. Frankly surprised it

lasted as long as it did. Evreytime I went through the Belle or the
Edge the FP games were being drilled by a VPFree flea or a BDC flea.
Plus the Triple play JOB and NSU bartops were a wonderful play till
the burnout artists snuffed them out. This is now the reality folks!
The knowlegble player base icnreases exponentianly as FP inventories
decrease. Contrary to what Bob Dancer says, all 100% games will be
inxtcint in due time and we'll be lucky to have 9/7Db with decent
bounce back remain. Most people here choose to ridicule me or
someone
like Rob Singer. Fact of the matter is, it wont be long before Mr.
Singers play strategies will actually be worthwhile alternatives
because all the games will be negative expectation! Like it or not,
the games are dying and its a DIRECT result of the mass publication
and teaching of the positive games.

I won't ridicule you, because your OPINION is just as good as anyone
elses. I only know Bob Singer by name, but I do know he told this
forum about Wynn VP and I enjoyed playing there until the games were
scrapped. But the bottom line is that I am surprised any casino
still offers 100% or better VP. They don't have to; and the bottom
line would hardly suffer. Even the casinos near me in Las Vegas are
filled with players enjoying VP with poor paytables.

But...my hope is that deep down, some places still like the
challenge and are saying to players, bring it on. Come visit us many
times (a repeat customer) and play a few million hands to eke out an
edge (or write a book; oops, sorry, I could not resist). Seriously,
every time I walk into the Suncoast, there are open seats at the
Optimum machines near the escalator. Same thing with the Red Rock
Optimum machines; it's not like there is a line waiting to play and
you have to take a number. Same thing with the Rampart; 10/7 DB
easily available.

I would not go to laughlin if I could get to Reno easily. we love
Reno. It is so much more fun than Vegas and not real crowded. If

We are offered free trips to Reno or Tahoe. Went to Tahoe but never Reno. Everyone says it isn't as safe there?? Kind of scared me off but hubby would like to go.

I always felt perfectly safe in Reno, and travel quite a bit throughout Reno and Sparks
during the day. At night, as it gets late, I stay closer to my hotel.

Thanks Bob. Maybe we will try there and just stay close to the hotel in the evenings. This is good to know:)

Well...how about today at the Suncoast. Tuesday 7/3/07 at 9:30AM.
Bottom of the escalator. Six machines. Two were in use when I sat
down. No one sat at the other open machines until past 11:00AM. I took
a walk at 11:06AM. Walked by the buffet. Saw one player at those
Optimum machines.

What happens in Vegas is reported here the same day if anyone really
is listening.

What does this have to do with Laughlin's decline???

Nothing.

gamblinggrandma switched the topic to local casinos and I made an
unforced error by not changing the subject line. I apologize for any
inconvenience.
