On Thurday, Aug 14th, the RP began offering "Win Cards" -- that is for
$10 you get $15 in special chips playable at table games -- a good
deal. Offer can be used only once every six months and the cashiers
are keeping close track of this (your use of this offer is entered into
the computer). Edgewater used to have this deal and I used it every
day. My God, how the monay rolled in!

The return of the Win Cards to the river... Let's see that promo vanished
when MGM/Mirage took over the Mandalay Resort Group, along with the EW BJ
tourney, Mr. Lucky and Mark "Elvis" Davis.

My recollection of the frequency differs from yours. I remember one house
used the every 30 days rule and the other once every calendar month rule. I was
never that diligent in doing this promo, but did it several times. It is
alot more fun than any match-play coupon. You got 15 one dollar promo chips and
a $1 tip coupon. I usually played Craps. Sometimes they let me take odds
with real money, sometimes not.

So do you have to start at the slot club for authorization?

**************
As for the Win Cards I saw the flyer at the cashiers cage
(downstairs), handed it to the cashier, showed my slot card, and that
was that. Actually it took about five minutes as this was on the first
day of the promo and I was the first client. I think with the Win
Chips at the blackjack table, if you get a blackjack, it only pays even
money.
