It certainly could be. It would depend on how the comp is given. If you got a handwritten or
printed comp today, you would usually have a time limit of 24 -72 to use it. IF you played your
normal amount today, and you used it tomorrow and didn't play at all, you would not likely have a
problem with future offers.
If, however, you were using comps off of your card like at a Harrahs property, you would be
assessed as having a trip to the casino and your average play would fall, and this could reduce
future comps.
There is a way around this if you can swing it. I have in the past used my points to buy a gift
certificate that is good at the property I am staying at for restaurants and Spas etc. If you buy
the certificate on a day that you play you can use it anytime within it's expiry limit with no
damage to your offers. The main problem lies in being able to purchase the certificate with your
points. The casino policies on this are diverse and change often.
