I assume those machines do not make a profit for them, but if they are getting "hurt" by other video poker players I just do not see how. I was there the other day and the place was absolutely packed. (as an aside, I've never seen so many old people on those little scooters assembled in one place before like that, lol) Anyway, if there were any "advantage players" there the day I was, I sure didn't see any. I saw some old people playing 6-5 Bonus Poker. And this seems to be the case everywhere I go, whether it be California Indian casinos, or the so-called "locals" in Vegas, the vast majority don't have a clue. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but what are these casinos afraid of? I think if I owned a casino I would invite all the quarter players to play as much full-pay games as they can handle. Maybe keep an eye out for the bigger players, but as far as small-to-medium stakes players being efficient enough to be worth worrying about, they're just not there. Maybe they are there in the imaginations of casino executives, but that is not even close to reality. That's my observation, and my opinion.

I agree 100% with that concept... I feel that you can not hurt the casino real bad with your lower denomation player,it is those big $$$ players that can hurt the casino... Also I have felt always people attract people... People(crouds) perfer to play where other people(crouds) are playing they think something must be good... Richard from Ca.

I hope so..
Husband and I are both high fliers, and we didn't get there from video poker..

We've spent a ton on slots, and have taken our business elsewhere.

There are closer places to play crappy VP :).
Hey, I think I'll write a letter...

"Why I play at Sam's Town" (that's a joke on the competition that's developed between the 2 on points)

they were shut down last wed and the tech told me they were being moved to the classic slots area...that area is not operational and the full pay bank is not sitting in that area, so it who knows...also the coin droppers are still operational on the floor and these will definitely be moved to classic slots...seems weird they would remove the full pay and not the coin dropper bank if they were both going to the new area...

i have been told under the new system hi-flyer status is still good for 6 months...their literature wasn't clear on this and notification should be going out in the mail in the next few days...
