Earning Harrah's Reward Credits for Table Play

I have a buddy who plays poker for a living. He says that all Caesar's/Harrah's properties will give you 17 Tier Credits per hour for live poker play, except Caesar's Las Vegas, which gives you 34 per hour. Not a whole lot and it doesn't matter what level you play.

Poker tends to be the stingiest with points, followed by table games , vp and then slots.

I don't have any direct information on table games but I'd speculate that it is much less than vp.

A lot of poker rooms give $1/hour comp. That's the same as a video poker player who risks $1,000 at a 0.1% comp rate. As a live action poker player you're probably not risking $1,000/hr. If you are you can probably negotiate a rakeback deal from the poker room. Table games, including those in the "casino pit", involve a lot of negotiating and tipping at the appropriate times. Nothing is really set in stone, it all depends what kind of deals you can negotiate.

That is was the rate a poker room player at Showboat gave me about 2-3 years ago.

He and his wife played mid week guaranteed prize tournaments that tended not to have enough players to to cover the guarantee creating a nice overlay opportunity.
