Welcome back.

You (and many others) have been victimized by AOL's new
spam system or by message blocking by your ISP (primarily
AOL and hotmail).

Funny, I have no problems. However, because of an email group I belong to on
AOL I had many problems with AOL until they put me onto a "white spam" list,
meaning I can email to groups of people without being suspected of spamming.
Believe me, that was a very annoying confrontation I had with them.

IIRC you live in Las Vegas now.

Sounds like a good justification to switch to Cox Cable (assuming that
cable is available where you live), for the speed as well as for a
general lack of annoyances when posting regular EMail to small groups
(did this last fall when arranging a get together of people at the
Golden Nugget). You can still connect to AOL at a reduced rate even if
your connection is through Cox. With "basic extended" cable the cost
is about $40/month.
