I need some help here. This coming weekend will be our first time
at Las Vegas Hilton. Is the best way to get there (coming from the
South)is to stay on I15 until East on Sahara Ave? Then go south on
Paradise Rd? I want to stay away from The Strip.
Is the LVH still a decent place to play VP. What about the food? We
do not need the expensive eateries. Just good food. I plan to play
pick-um at the various bars. Any problems getting drinks while
playing? Anything else I should be concerned about?

You will not have any trouble getting drinks at the bar. Watch the
antics of Sam at the Spacequest bar.... He is a riot. I like the
sanwiches at Vegas Subs in the sportsbook area. They are really
good. The coffee shop has a $4.95 steak special that is not too bad.
The Mexican place also has very reasonably priced food. You can
always try the buffet, and I understand they serve wine and beer with
the dinner meal. Don't forget that the LVH is one of the few places
that has FP AA machines.
