Dreamcard question

Lower right of the screen, there are touch buttons which cycle through all
the cards left in the deck. Pick any one you like.

You CAN change the dreamcard to whatever card you wish.

There are also a couple of articles in the Bob Dancer archive at casinogaming.com from December of last year.

Do not play Dreamcard without a realistic expectation of how volatile the game is depending on the Dreamcard's appearance. When the DC doesn't appear you will frequently lose heavily. Even if you are playing Jacks or Better and end up with a pair of queens on all your hands you do NOT break even - you have lost half of your entire bet.

The estimated return for any Dreamcard game is based on long-term play. Within that timeframe you will experience frustrating periods when the Dreamcard appears far less often than expected. So while you might anticipate seeing the DC about half the time playing Jacks or Better you can sometimes experience many hands in a row with no Dreamcard. And on games like DDB or TDB when the DC is expected even less frequently these gaps can be excruciating

I thought the Dreamcard probablility for Deuces Wild was almost 100 %. Sounds like I was very wrong. i've played it on videopoker.com and the Dreamcard was appearing all the time

Actually about 59% and IL deuces (The version used at videopoker.com) which
is normally a 98.91% game is close to break even in the Dream Card format.

In other words, don't expect this:

Actually I did have that too.....right after I switched from 25 cent Triple
Double 5 play to Bonus Poker. Got $500 instead of $5000.

----I read the help screen on the ones at Santa Fe today. They say you can
change the dream card with a button yet I still don't see the button. Looked
all over the screen and the buttons.

Scot,

If you go to videopoker.com you can register to play the game for free. You can then practice using the game interface.

The button Brian refers to only appears on the screen when you are dealt the Dreamcard. The Change Dreamcard appears right above the credit display. You can touch either the right or left arrow to cycle through the deck to your desired Dreamcard.

See the yellow DreamCard button in the lower right (above the DRAW button), and how it has two tiny arrows on the left/right sides of that button? That's what lets you change the card.

Ok. Thanks for the info/help. I have seen where it says "Dreamcard
Enabled." So then that changes to "Change Dreamcard" when the Dreamcard
comes up? I think I get it now.
