Downtown stay 9/13 to 9/16

Very sorry, I didn't realize that you were restricted to the downtown area
only. Personally, the only downtown locations I ever play at are the GN and the
Horseshoe, neither of which has 10/6 DDB. Maybe someone else who plays
downtown can help?

Not too far from downtown (a couple of miles) is Palace Station. There is
10/6 DDB available there, on the Optimum Play machines, in
quarters/halves/dollars. They also have quarter FPDW, plus q/h/d 10/7 DB. Not too bad for a $7 (?)
cab ride!

Also, as I said, full pay Super Aces and Triple Double Bonus would be
superior to 9/6 DDB, and the strategies are similar. Does anyone know if these games
are available downtown?

Thanks,
Brian

PS: Why, may I ask, do you hate the Palms? Is it because you don't receive
the mailers that we locals receive?

it is (or was available at the the Palms) and at certain North LV &

Midwest, and always stay in the downtown area. I would appreciate
any advice about this.
Good luck to you.

Thanks for your advice, Brian, I will certainly try Palace

Station. If I like it, I would consider staying there as well,
though I know there are no other casinos within walking distance. I
am basically a .25 denom. player, occasionally I switch to .50
denom. when I'm doing really well (though, I must admit, that
sometimes puts an end to my winning streak!) Due to the long hours
that I play, I have been fully comped all over downtown, except the
GN, where I haven't stayed in years. It seems the GN has only 9/7DB,
and 8/5Bonus. Am I missing something? Since I don't play dollars,
I'm sure the CB wouldn't compensate for those pay schedules. What
do you play there?
I hate the Palms because of their extreme hipster ambiance. I
stayed there 3 times, had my room only comped each time, and did
well at their nice selection of vp. I was uncomfortable playing in
the evening, when the music blared, and the BJ tables were filled
with 7 foot tall basketball players and their ladies. I guess I
prefer a quieter, older crowd, when I'm playing. And yes, it
annoyed me that I ran $8,000+ a day through their machines, and
never received any mail from them. I have rec'd nice mail offers
from every other casino I've ever stayed at, including the
Peppermill and Silver Legacy, in Reno, where I am also fully comped.
I guess the Palms marketing dept.doesn't like me anymore than I
like them.
Anyway, thanks for your reply and go hit a couple of Royals.
