the four queens is always free, if you have a players card and speak with a
slot host. What I hate about the 4 queens garage is their elevator. Its a
1910 variety, slow as molasses, and you never know when its going to break.
Last trip I was there , it was out of service and I had to drag my luggage
up 4 flights of stairs after checkout.

It is not a real big thing but if you overstay your FREE parking like I did
at
the Four Queens. I was less then 5 minutes over the 3 Hrs. FREE
parking... I round up paying $1.00 not a big deal but if I had stayed a (1)
hour it was like $5.00 and it goes up ,up,and up.

The Fremont is valet only - no self parking
there.

I prefer Four Queens.

I would go the Four Queens self park and stamp your parking ticket at the
cage

Dinner at hugo's celler is a great choice for old style vegas dinning and
check out the
25 cent 10/7 DB progressive.

To the best of my knowledge, if you have parked longer than the three hours, casino floor people at 4 Queens can put a second stamp on parking card to give you more time

Thanks to you guys that wrote that you could get extra parking validation from the staff at the 4Queens. That is news I can use!

For the person who had to drag his luggage down 4 flights of stairs: If the nasty, slow, smelly elevator on the Golden Nugget side isn't working, there is an equally nasty slow elevator perpendicular to it on the Fitzgerald's side.

I often park at the Plaza. Big garage, and no validation required. Downtown is so small, there is not much of a walk to the Fremont Street Experience no matter which casino you park at.

I often take my out of town guests to the Fremont show. They have a schedule online of what time any particular show will be run. Most of my friends and relatives have liked "American Pie."

When I first started to visit Las Vegas, I thought the shows were cheesy, but I've come to like them. The sound system is amazing, the crowd has great people watching opportunties. The world's largest LED screen is worth seeing.

I agree with John that Hugo's Cellar at the 4Queens is a great old-Vegas style place to eat. Wonderful food and service.

Good luck to Coach Vee. I hope to read another entertaining trip report from him!
