I have found that security is very good in both the casinos along the FSE mall and FSE mall itself. In fact I've never even seen a security problem in the many times I've been there.
I don't get that same feeling once I depart the mall in the wee hours however. Never really had a problem, but I don't think it is all that safe either. I try not to leave the mall between midnight and daybreak.

I would park at Main Street via the garage. They also have valet. Then walk thru Main Street to the Cal and then thru Vegas Club or Binions. I wonder all night while my hubby stays in and plays and have never felt the least bit threatend by the scene on Fremont.
