downtown or "local's" better for vp?

I will be in Vegas Dec 6 - 12 and will have a car on the weekend. My
question for "in-the-know" locals: As a quarter VP player, would I
find more FP games downtown (which casinos?) or at a place like
Fiesto Rancho? I like to play dueces wild or 10/7 DB. I've looked at
the databases on VPfree but still can't decide which would be best.
Since I'll only have two days available, I'd like to find the casino
with most machine choices. Any help will be appreciated.

A side note: I have really enjoyed this forum but as a math retard,
it would be so helpful if there could be a translation at the end or
the math-ful posts that explains the answer in simple "vp for dummies"
form.

thanks again

Off the top of my head I would say Sam's Town or either of the Fiestas for those games. Another option would be stay at Gold Coast and play at the Palms.

MSS has 3 or 6? (which is it now?) FPDW and some 10/7. But you did seem interested in which place has more.

Good luck!

Pookie,
If your criteria is the number of machines, then I would recommend the
Fiesta Rancho. They have 13 machines on a $.25 FPDW progressive and
maybe another 35 (rough estimate) that have FPDW at the $.05, $.10 and
$.25 levels. No cash back.

Th Four Queens has about 15-20 machines on a $.25 10/7 DB
progressive...and you earn cash back.

Binions has 12 full pay $.25 machines 4 FPDW, 4 100.6 Jokers and 4 10/7
DB. No cash back.

If you are not looking for cash back, the Palms would serve you well. The food is tolerable at the buffet and easy to get comped. Their progressive duces are a good play and they have lots of other full pay machines.
As far as downtown, there are lots of 10/7 DB but not much fpdw.

Just got back from Vegas on the 18th. Played alot of Loose Dueces
Wild at the Hilton by the Sportbook section. Full pay 15/8's mixed
in with 12/8's. So be careful. It appears every other row has the
full pay. Hit the dueces 2 days in a row there. Good luck
