Leaving my hometown at security, I was given a pink paper which let me keep my shoes on thru security, then after exiting security, I stopped for a coke with ice. I had a $5 out to pay
But the guy said "It's on me, don't worry about it. I thanked him and dropped a $1 in the tip jar. Flights were smooth and non- eventful just the way I like them.
Arrived McCarran at about 4PM on Friday, discovered that Delta's luggage carousel has been changed from lucky #7 to #16. Got my bag, took the shuttle to car rental and met my husband there. He came out on Wed toe some meetings . He still had meetings so I had him drop me off at South Point. I planned to get one of their hotdogs with mustard and kraut for 75 cents but they had just sold out and were closing for the day . I went over to the deli looking for something small , the girl recommended a slice of pizza. So that's what I got. It was terrible tasted like cardboard so I picked the pepperoni off and ate it and threw the rest away. Started playing on a decent pay DDB, lost about. $40 . Walked around checking out machines, saw a 25 cent DW progressive bank but every seat was taken. I sat down at the next bank
and as I waited for an opening, played 5 play TBD. Hit a couple of quads but when a seat opened up , I was only up about $50. Changed seats to the progressive , it was up to about $2600. Played there for 2.5 hours. Never got 4 deuces or the royal but did well enough that when I quit I was only down about $100. Played a 5 play BP and came out about $50 up but still losing about a hundred. My husband came back to pick me up and we stopped at The Peppermill for dinner. Got the big fruit thing to go. Went out to Sun Coast and checked in for the weekend . I really like Sun Coast . Their rooms all have refrigerators so we had stopped to get orange juice and Pepsi.
I accidentally hit the send button.
Played several hours at Sun Coast on BP, DW, DDB hit some hands but went to bed down another $150.
Got up on Sat and went for a swim in their heated pool. Sat in the hot tub for awhile then went back to my room for some fruit and banana nut bread . Went down to the casino and played some STP at 10 play 10 cent. Did pretty well and played for over an hour. Started playing that nickel 5 play progressive close to the gift shop, hit 4 aces on the deal, then about 5 hands later got 4. 10's on the deal out.
Last trip report from Royal Flusher had a code to get tickets to Veronic Voices at Ballys for $2.50 each. About 2 weeks before I got the code, I ate lunch at Canes and won. $10 at Ticketmaster. I was going to just throw it away but decided to check with family to see if anybody wanted it. Anyway it was still in my car, so when I went in to buy the tickets for $2.50 ea it was on Ticketmaster so I got the paper and used it to buy the tickets and there was a "check here to donate $5 to Red Cross" so I did and I was able to use the whole. $10 certificate . So we were scheduled to see the show at 7 PM on Sat night. A vendor at my husbands meeting invited us for dinner on Sat night. And by dinner , I mean limo service to and from the Venetian where we were eating at Carnevino. So we skipped the show at Ballys and had a great time at the Venetian. Dinner was wonderful. Their bone-in rib eye was delicious. Back at Sun Coast, played a little vp, no big wins or loses then to bed.
Sunday morning ate the rest of the fruit, went for a swim, got dressed and checked out of Sun Coast. Our room was comped for the weekend . We have a lot of points but didn't need to eat there so we will save them for our next trip. Drove to the Cosmopolitan for a 2 night comped stay . Got the balcony room with the Bellagio fountain view. Love it!
Went down to Secret Pizza and got 3 slices of pepperoni, already had the Pepsi and ate sitting on the balcony watching the view .
We walked down to Caesars to get the $100 dinner comp for making Diamond and stopped by The Conservatory at the Bellagio on the way back. Very nice and colorful. I'll try to post a few pictures. Did some gambling at the Cosmo mostly played the $1 vp progressive, it was at $7200. I played some TDB and some BP, hit several quads but no royal. That would be a nice one to win. On the way to my room , I spotted a vp spin kinda machine . It had amounts that each time you got a quad or some other good hands it would reveal a number on one of the slices ( it looked like a pizza with slices and ea slice needed a number). It was sort of confusing but I played it. After I had put 5 $100 bills in, I was starting to get worried as I was trying to get all the numbers revealed. Well when I was down to the last number I hit a dealt quad on the first line which gave me 5 wins and then the last number was revealed and I got to spin and the total win was $480 so I quit losing $20. That was very lucky that I ONLY lost that much. Went back to the room , rested up a bit then we walked back down to Caesars to use our comp at their Bachanal Buffet. When we arrived the line was VERY long, being about 8:00 on Sunday night. We went to the Diamond line and went right to our table. I must say that was wonderful although I felt bad for all those people in line. The buffet was very good, the service was excellent and the price couldn't have been better . We left a nice tip and walked back to the Cosmo stopping at the fountain to listen to Elvis sing Viva Las Vegas with the fountains. Picked up our rental vehicle and went downtown . Watched the Fremont Experience with Jim Morrison and the Doors . We sat down at a Let It Ride table at 4 Queens and played for almost 3 hours. Had a good time but lost about $450. Our dealer was very nice and there was a very nice couple from Alaska. A very drunk guy sat down at the table and dropped chips everywhere. I helped him pick up chips from the floor . He kept knocking them over on top of his bets and sometimes onto mine . I was glad when he left. Back to Cosmo and to bed.
Lastest in my Fake Trip Report and some VP pics and whatnot.

I forgot to mention that on the drive downtown, we went by American Gold Pawn (Pawn Stars ) and there was a customer at the window ( it was after hours) and the guy at the window helping the customer was not Chumley. I have been by their place a couple of times and none of the regular guys are ever there.
We didn't return back to the Cosmo until about 3 AM on Monday morning so we slept in.
Cosmopolitan gave me $100 free play (their promotion of lose. $100 get $100 free play. They said I had lost $385. I played it on the $1 progressive but still no royal. The progressive was now at $8300.
Went to STK for dinner as they were having a Halloween party during dinner with the cast of Absinthe performing and all their people were dressed in costumes . The dinner was great and the atmosphere was fun. It was also very pricey. Our bill with tip and no alcohol was $191. I had points to cover about $140 of it. We had a Rice Krispie Shrimp appetizer that was very different but very good. We both had salad , mine was Pear/Endive and his was garden salad both were very good. We both had Filets of different sizes with sides of corn pudding. ( never had born pudding like this but it was delicious) and asparagus. The bread had a green dipping sauce (for Halloween I suspect). Afterwards we went back to our room to change clothes planning to go back downtown , but we both fell asleep (terrible thing to do on a full stomach). Went back down to the casino so my husband could get $100 on losses but that night we both were winning. So no $100 free play for him but about $300 in winnings, still no royal. Still down for the trip about a thousand. We both went back to our room.
Tuesday our last full day. Went down to Flamingo to check in for a slot tournament and found that we would be on our flight before the winners were announced so we are not doing the tournament. Fine with me as I do not enjoy their regular slot tournaments. Checked in to the Flamingo then went back to get our things and check out of the Cosmo. My host said we could have another night free but my husband wanted to go to Flamingo as one of his friends from his meetings was there. Our room was very nice with a great view . We went downtown to the D. Looked at their second floor and the old Sigma Derby. Got hot dogs at All American Coney at the D. They were not as good as the ones at South Point. Then we walked over to The Grand and got a player card from a guy on the floor with a small computer. We both played this and that and we both lost. Used some free play coupons at. 4 Queens then headed back to the Strip. Rested some then got our vehicle from valet. Btw we rented a Toyota Sienna from Payless that my husband picked up last Wed and we are returning on Wed the 30th for. $16 per day and after taxes we paid about $177. The vehicle was excellent.
Drove over to the Rio , got our tickets for The Michael Jackson Tribute show, then we ate dinner at the All American Grill and paid with points .
Dinner was okay . The show was very good. I got the tickets through Groupon at. $33 each. Played some vp at the Rio and lost some more.
Back to Flamingo and more vp. I did pretty good on a $1 Wheel of Fortune but ultimately lost. Back to the room to get ready to leave tomorrow.
Okay flight leaves at 1:35 PM and we got to the airport with plenty of time. Stopped at the Chicago Deli for a sandwich.
Ok now our flight has been delayed because there is an engine issue. I say fix any engine problems on the ground.
Okay we are getting a different flight. I am not happy about this because I prefer the 767 to either the 757 or the 737. We won't get home tonight. They are going to fly us to Minneapolis then we will have to spend the night there.
Oh well, our trip to Las Vegas ended up being all rooms comped and all the rooms were great. All of our food was free except for about. $50 at STK and the dinner and fruit at Peppermill. The hot dogs were 2 for 1 on a LVA coupon. Spent or lost approx $2,300.
Thanks for the trip report, I enjoyed reading it.

Sorry to say that the Downtown Grand has already cut the VP paytables.
The DDB quarter progressive that was 8/5 is now 7/5. I’ve talked to my host about the displeasure this causes amongst the degenerate players like me.
