Downtown Deuces Question

Do you use regular deuces wild strategy or are there changes to that
strategy that should be made?

The strategy that you should use depends on the PAYTABLE of the game,
not the location. If the paytable is the same, use the regular
strategy. If the paytable is different, the strategy should be

Downtown Deuces is a specific version of Deuces wild that just happens to be found only at some Downtown Casinos, hence the name.
There would definitely be changes made to the game from the regular version of FPDW because the quad deuces pays double.
I would suggest that the person needing to find these changes should acquire a copy of VPSM or Frugal VP in order to get the appropriate
strategy chart. Either product will do the job for this and most other versions of VP.

If you are playing the 100.92% game, here are the deviations from FPDW
strategy that I would use.

0 DEUCES
3 STFL, OPEN, 567s-9TJs > 1 PAIR
ALL 3 STFL. OPEN > ST 4 OPEN
ALL 3 STFL w 0,1, or 2 GAPS > 10 Js,10 Qs, &J Qs
2 ROYAL K HI w 2 PEN IS PLAYABLE
7 10 Js ALWAYS > 10 Js

1 DEUCE
4 STFL w 1 OR 2 GAPS > TRIPS
3 STFL (2+56s) OR HIGHER > 2 ONLY
3 STFL w 1 GAP (2+57s OR HIGHER) > 2 ONLY
ALL 4 STFL w 1 OR 2 GAPS >TRIPS
ALL 4 STFL w 0 OR 1 GAP > STRAIGHT
3 STFL w 0 PEN (2+45s) > 2
